The chimney breast is angled to catch natural light from the adjacent window. The terrace A garden light well runs parallel to the basement hall library. A hidden southeast facing clerestory window fills the space over the master bed with light. The basement level bedrooms are arranged around a courtyard garden. Shiplap covers the underside of a mono-pitched roof. A timber box frame surrounds the corner window in the studio. The built in storage underneath is made of black, self-coloured mdf.
